Centane, or alternatively anglicised Kentane or Kentani because Europeans cannot pronounce the Xhosa click 'C'; is a settlement in Amathole District Municipality in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is situated at approximately 31 kilometres from Butterworth.
