Parow is a sprawling, largely residential area home to the Tygerberg Nature Reserve, crisscrossed by panoramic hiking paths. Set around a lake, the 18-hole Parow Golf Club features views of Table Mountain, plus birdlife from pelicans to peacocks, while local shops and casual eateries cluster along Voortrekker Road. Wineries on the Durbanville Wine Route lie just to the north.
