Today in the street all you could see was people wearing their Green Jersey's / Shirts and flags hanging onto every second car. All just to prepare for people to go sit and watch a few grown men fighting over a single ball for an extended time period. Saddest part is that if 5% of those people that are seen across SA today took R100 each (which is a lot less than the money they went and spent on the braai meat, drinks and snacks)..... Then they could have all joined a local initiative and helped jump start the program that would give 200,000 individuals the opportunity to learn how to code and find employment. Yet we live in a society where spending money on items you will never see again, once you used it remains more important than change. United to watch a game, should spread to being United against community / society problems. #StrangeTimes

Parents are superheroes that are not always recognized for their daily efforts. At times they could be busy the whole day, stay up through the entire night with a sick child and then still continue the next day with all their daily duties. Being a parent is a gift and we do all we can for our children to ensure they have everything they need. Hope everyone is going to have a wonderful day. #parents

The worst feeling as a parent at times, is when your child is ill. Especially like when they have a fever and you can just wait for everything to work to bring the temperature down again.

With the sun shining across Cape Town today, I am sure it is going to become a beautiful day with lots of positive outcomes.

Wow these Cape Town winds are blowing like you wont believe. I wonder if it will blow some braai-vleis our way. So if you have a braai going this morning and can afford meat to enjoy such an a plan for today....then please stand upwind from me. I will keep my eyes upon the sky in-between to see if there is a braai broodjie and piece of meat flying past.
