Getting your Abdomin back into shape.

There comes a time in most peoples life where that little extra abdominal flab just prevents us from wearning our favourite swimsuit or taking a little tan in the summer sun.

Not everyone has the drive or time to spend extended hours at the gym to address this little problem.

We have found some small items you can do that might help:

1. Ensuring the proper posture can do wonders for the way your stomach looks.

Stand up straight, pull your shoulders back then tuck in your abdomen and buttocks.

2. Breathe correctly by taking deep breaths from your diaphragm.

3. Now do some basic exersises, by pulling in your abdominal muscles for several seconds at a time.

Make these exersises as part of your daily routine, so whilst you are brushing your teeth or even sitting at your desk. You could even do it whilst you are sitting in traffic.

4. Another good and fast way to get that stomack into shape is to ride a bicycle.

If you do not have a bicycle then try this little trick to get the same results:

Lie down on your back and place your hands underneath your buttocks. Now bend both your knees up to your chest.

Extend one leg straight up towards the ceiling, as you bend it in a pedalling motion.
Now do the same steps with the other leg.

Repeat these motions between 10 and 20 times on a daily basis.

5. The next little exersise will be a bent-leg, curl-ups whilst laying on your back.

Have a look at the picture below to see it should be done.

Now inhale and then as you exhale, slowly curl your head and shoulders upwards and slide your hands up your thighs towards your knees.

Then take a pause.

Then inhale and while your are exhaling, slowly curl down to a resting position.

Repeat these steps 10 times.

6. Remember whilst doing any exercise to contract your abdominal muscles to keep yourself in alignment.

During an abdomen-toning supine exercise, keep the small prt of your back on the floor, otherwise your hip will take on the abdomen's work.

Have fun and get that stomack back to its flat position and get ready for your swimsuit.
