Teaching you how to write a text placeholder within a search bar is not enough.

Just like Google which uses an icon image for their search button, we will teach you where to find icons, how to save them in the correct folders and how to implement them.

Once you have the icon you want to use as your button, there are some coding involved to ensure it displays correctly, but also works properly when users click on it.

Our Students / Interns will learn more than just basic coding, we are teaching you the art of become an expert coder.

Step 3:-

Now that we have an understanding of how a page code get started, we can move on to the fun parts.

Creating the placeholders and codes that will link up to the elements our front end users will see and use in the end.

So a simple logo, search bar and submit button will be the first few parts we will teach you to create before we start shifting things around.

Step 2:-

Like I said coding is a simple process of following the standard rules, it's like when you would are baking a cake.

You need to follow the basic instructions, add the correct ingredients (functionality codes) and in the end you get the desired results.

There will be no need to rush, plus as you code more and more, it will become clear which items all sites need to start with.

Just like before you can drive a car it needs to be started.

We will teach you how to start coding your first skeleton base code, why each part of the code is added and how they work.

From this point moving forward, you will start expanding and coding the actual search platform main code.

Step 1:-

You will learn how to setup Visual Studion (Your editor) to save the codes you create in the right folders.

Plus do your first test code.

As you can see in the displayed images, you will be able to display your written code via a php file directly in any browser.

We will teach you some tips and tricks along the way and instead of being given a spoon-fed copy and paste of the code, we will ensure that you know exactly how to build this type of Search Engine and its functions on your own at the end.

Let's start with the basics.

Before our Interns / Students start building the Google Search Engine, they need to know how to use basic programs as an developer.

These tools do not only help teach you to build the platform, but also how to make changes or to find faults before you even launch it on the world wide web.

So for those who do not know, we will cover the basics of using XAMPP on your device to setup your localhost server, as well as, using a simple editor like Visual Studio for example within which you will write your codes.

Once you have these two items in place, then the fun can start to build your first real Search Engine.

So the year 2023 is moving closer to its final days and a lot of preparations are being done for 2024.

Some big, some small and some just fun.

I have had so many questions as to what my team is working on, what is being launched in the new year and if my Internship Program is on track.

Well, the most simple answer is yes we all all on track to shake the online world.

It is a good feeling when you see a united team working towards a single goal.

Tomorrow I am starting work with my first group of Interns to teach them the skills on how to code and build games.

So this morning my team advised me that they sent an email to the City of Cape Town Mayor, Mr. Geordin Hill-Lewis

They wanted to inform him of our Internship Program to train 200,000 individuals the skills of coding and helping them secure employment.

It will be interesting to see if they do anything about it.

With my experience in the past, I am not holding my breath.

On the other-hand let me be positive and see if they can stand out from the rest and show they are different.
